Accreditation

Accreditation is a process by which an organization or program is evaluated against established standards to ensure that it meets predetermined criteria for quality and effectiveness. For the National Board of Adaptive Recovery Professionals (NBARP), accreditation is a critical component of our commitment to excellence and professionalism in the field of adaptive recovery coaching. Accreditation serves as a seal of approval, indicating that our certification program meets the highest standards of quality and integrity.
Accreditation is important for NBARP for several reasons. First and foremost, it provides assurance to our members and the public that our certification program has been rigorously evaluated and meets established standards of excellence. This helps to build trust and confidence in the certification process and the professionals who hold our certification.
Additionally, accreditation enhances the credibility and recognition of NBARP and its certification program within the field of adaptive recovery coaching. Accreditation signifies that our certifications align with best practices in the industry. This can lead to increased opportunities for our certified professionals and greater recognition for their expertise and qualifications.
Furthermore, accreditation is essential for ensuring that NBARP remains at the forefront of the field and continues to evolve in response to changing needs and standards. By undergoing the accreditation process, NBARP demonstrates its commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in adaptive recovery coaching certification.
In conclusion, accreditation is a cornerstone of NBARP's commitment to excellence and professionalism. It serves as a mark of quality and integrity for our certification program, enhances our credibility and recognition in the field, and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

The National Board of Adaptive Recovery Professionals (NBARP) values transparency and accountability in all its operations. However, it is important to note that the identities of NBARP board members are kept confidential and anonymous for several reasons. The decision to maintain anonymity is a deliberate choice made by NBARP board members to uphold the values of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism in their work. While their identities remain confidential, their commitment to advancing the field of adaptive recovery coaching remains unwavering

12-Step Membership

One significant reason for this confidentiality is the board members' membership in various 12-step fellowships, which require that they maintain anonymity in their professional lives. This commitment to anonymity is deeply ingrained in the principles of these fellowships and is respected by NBARP.

Mission Focus

The demand for the time and expertise of NBARP board members became overwhelming in their previous roles at ARCS, a national wellness company. Seeking a more focused and impactful way to contribute to the field of adaptive recovery coaching, they retired from ARCS and moved to the NBARP board.

This transition allows them to devote their full attention to advancing the certification standards and supporting professionals in the field. In large part, NBARP board member prioritize internal networking endeavors with other leaders and benefactors within the coaching, counseling and wellness industries, to fundraise private grant funding for our program applicants.

The NBARP wants to make our programs accessible for anyone seeking personal empowerment and professional acumen.

Objectivity

As the accrediting entity for all Certified Adaptive Recovery Coach (CARC) related coaching certifications, NBARP board members are required to maintain objectivity in relation to ARCS members, ARCS graduates, ARCS coaches, and even ARCS officers and administrators. This objectivity ensures fairness and integrity in the certification process and helps to uphold the credibility of the board.
